FAQ: When will my ad appear?

Questions. We love ‘em. When somebody has a question for us here at Paper Shop, we know that they’re either already advertising with us or thinking of giving us a try. We’re happy to help with and all inquiries, and we’ve found that a number of them are, well, frequently asked questions. Here’s where we take some time to talk about them.

You’ve done it! You either called in an ad or went to thepapershop.com to submit your advertisement. First things first: thank you! Second things: when will that ad go into print and appear on the website?

We’ll start with the easy answer: every single ad we get appears on thepapershop.com within 30 minutes of placement. In other words, you could begin to get calls about your item within half an hour.

Any ads we get before our 11 AM Friday deadline go into print for the following Wednesday.  After each deadline we immediately begin putting together the next issue, so ads placed after deadline go into print for the Wednesday after that.

Remember that we’re always happy to tell you specifically when your ad will go into print – just ask. Remember, too, that you’re welcome to call in ads on Paper Shop Live! where you can talk about the item on air with as much detail as you wish.

Sorry, Kermit, but it is rather easy to be green. We do our best to care for the environment every week – and in a couple of different ways, too.

When you think about it, our entire mission is rather eco-friendly: we provide a platform for people to buy and sell their used items. Without items to reuse, repurpose and recycle, we’d hardly have much of a function. Reused materials are our stock in trade! It’s certainly safe to say we know a little about recycling.

Here’s something you might not know, though: not only do we recycle used copies of Paper Shop, we also print every copy on paper from mills with FSC certification. In other words, our newsprint paper suppliers are certifiably green.

Recycling – it’s what we do!
